The 13th annual NW Youth Careers Expo is coming on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the Oregon Convention Center. The Expo brings together the region’s leading employers to educate high school students about the region’s amazing career opportunities.
Early-bird exhibitors include prominent employers in every major sector such as health care (Providence, OHSU), construction (Howard S. Wright), technology (Microsoft, Elemental), manufacturing (PCC Structurals) energy (PGE) and the arts (Wieden+Kennedy).
The day is organized by the nonprofit Portland Workforce Alliance and has strong business community support. Employers can browse the PWA website to register online or learn more about the Expo. You can also see a photo gallery from the Expo, see a list of exhibitors, view survey feedback from past exhibitors, see our early 2017 sponsors and learn more about the nonprofit PWA.
Employers say they love the Expo because it’s a cost-effective way to connect with their future workforce, reach a diverse audience, showcase their company and support 6,500+ high school students from 75+ high schools. It’s also a fun, energizing day.
The cost to exhibit is about $700 for private-sector employers, and only $300 for nonprofits. Contact PWA for more information about becoming an Expo sponsor or exhibitor.
