The nonprofit Portland Workforce Alliance is seeking high school students to form its new Youth Impact Council for 2020-21. Students in this paid advisory role will help PWA develop community-based career exploration that is meaningful, interesting, inclusive and (dare we say) fun.
This week, we teamed up with an amazing group of North Clackamas teachers to do something that would have been unthinkable not long ago: Provide virtual mock job interviews for 180 students in three days.
Though school looks a lot different this fall, PWA’s mission is the same: We still believe in big dreams and good jobs for ALL students.
