The ACE Mentor Program of Oregon this week awarded $75,000 in college scholarships to 16 Portland-area seniors interested in pursuing careers in architecture, construction management and engineering.
Leading companies from Portland’s design-and-build community gathered at the Portland Art Museum on April 20 to celebrate students and raise scholarship money for the ACE Mentor Program.
The ACE Mentor Program of Oregon has 114 volunteer mentors this year, which allowed program leaders to accept a record 160+ high school students to learn about careers in architecture, construction and engineering.
Andy Hua didn’t just earn a college scholarship this spring though the ACE Mentor Program, a special partner of PWA. The 2016 Roosevelt High graduate also landed a full-time summer job through his ACE connections.
