More than 1,000 students have already registered for mock job interviews at the NW Youth Careers Expo on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Join our big team of caring volunteers!
Some PWA volunteers are company leaders; others are just starting out. Either way, they share a common desire to help Portland teenagers gain access to good careers. (We often hear them saying, “I wish someone had helped ME figure this stuff out when I was in high school!”)
Nearly 530 high school students had one-on-one mock job interviews at the 2017 NW Youth Careers Expo, thanks to a small army of caring volunteers. An additional 178 students attended Career Talks on subjects such as landing a summer
Building a pipeline of diverse, local talent begins early. That’s why multiple employers at this year’s NW Youth Careers Expo tell us they will be looking to hire high school students for a variety of jobs and internships this summer. Check out the possibilities!
Let us help spread the word about internships, jobs or volunteer opportunities for high school students. It’s a surefire way of sparking interest in your organization at the 13th annual NW Youth Careers Expo on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
