Holst Architecture Career Day

Do you dream of a career designing buildings? Spend the morning with Holst Architecture! Connect with architects and other industry professionals. Get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Portland’s leading firms. Design a building in a team with students from other schools. Learn about the education and skills needed for an architecture career. Visit the active jobsite of a building that Holst designed!

How to attend:

Step 1: Fill out the fall 2024 student interest form ASAP. (Type your email address and cell number carefully so we can reach you!)

Step 2: Have your parent/guardian fill out the 2024-25 parent/guardian permission form ASAP. (Your application can’t be considered until this is done.) Students who do this early have much better luck at being accepted.

Step 3: PWA will contact you to let you know if you’re accepted or waitlisted, or if the career day is full.

Step 4: Show up and have an amazing time!

Who can attend:

High school students in the Portland metro area are encouraged and welcome to apply. When space is limited, priority is given to students from PWA partner districts (Parkrose, Reynolds, Gresham-Barlow, North Clackamas, Oregon Charter Academy, Portland Public Schools). Students from other districts are always welcome and accepted whenever space is available.
