PWA Landscape Architecture Career Day @ GreenWorks

If you're inspired by nature and design, and you have a passion to tackle real-world issues, you might be interested in a career in landscape architecture! Get a behind-the-scenes look at how GreenWorks' team of creative landscape architects and designers bring outdoor spaces such as public parks, urban plazas, campuses, and waterfront developments to life. Tour their studio and see firsthand how they blend environmental sciences and unique design ideas together to make our communities better places to live, work, and play. Lunch included! IN PERSON at GreenWorks.

How to attend:

Step 1: Fill out the winter/spring 2024 student interest form ASAP. (Type your email address and cell number carefully so we can reach you!)

Step 2: Have your parent/guardian fill out the 2024-25 parent/guardian permission form ASAP. (Your application can’t be considered until this is done.) Students who do this early have much better luck at being accepted.

Step 3: PWA will contact you to let you know if you’re accepted or waitlisted, or if the career day is full.

Step 4: Show up and have an amazing time!

Who can attend:

High school students in the Portland metro area are encouraged and welcome to apply. When space is limited, priority is given to students from PWA partner districts (Parkrose, Reynolds, Gresham-Barlow, North Clackamas, Oregon Charter Academy, Portland Public Schools). Students from other districts are always welcome and accepted whenever space is available.
